“Poppy” is a 14 year old Morgan gelding standing 15.0 hands high. This guy has great stall, barn, and pasture manners! He is easy to catch and pastured with mares and geldings. He stands tied, stands for the farrier and stands to be groomed and pampered. He is great with kids and loves all of the attention they give him.
Under saddle, Poppy is a blast to ride and has three lovely gaits. This boy is great anywhere you ride him. He goes down the trails with confidence and is glad to lead or follow.... (read more) He crosses water, bridges, mud, and is great with his feet. He has been popped over a few fences and is always brave. He has ridden in the ring but spends more time on the trails or riding around the farm. Poppy is a forward mover and best suited for a confident rider.
Under harness, Poppy is equally as fun. He is beautiful in the cart. He will travel alongside the road with no problems. This guy will stop and stand and walk on when asked. Like riding, Poppy is best suited for a confident driver as he is forward.
