“Artemis” is a 6 year old Percheron gelding standing 17.2 hands high. This guy is an all around gem. He has fantastic barn manners and stands tied, stands to be groomed, braided, clipped, and for the farrier.
Under Saddle, this guy has three floaty gaits. He’s more woah than go and prefers to walk but picks up the canter with ease. He crosses mud, water, bridges, ditches, and he knows where his feet are at. Artemis is suited for any level rider wanting to have a slow paced and confident horse.... (read more) He isn’t spooky or watchy, he is traffic safe and doesn’t mind wildlife, bicycles, scooters, or joggers. This guy is gentle gentle gentle and easy to catch in the pasture! He can sit or be ridden daily, he is always the same horse. Gentle and slow.
Under harness, Artemis is equally as simple. He will drive single and in teams and will go on either side. He is a great teacher and doesn’t mind chaotic youngsters hooked next to him.
