Iris is a titled coming 6 year old 13.2 hand red roan mustang. She was born in captivity to a mare from the Pine Nut HMA in Nevada. Iris came to us gentled and trained by a 12 year old girl and her mom. She had lots of exposure to liberty, fun shows, obstacles and a bit of jumping. Since being with us in Maine she has been exposed to trails, tractors, dogs, chickens and cows. She attended a Wylene Wilson bootcamp last summer. Iris does require vitamin e supplement but otherwise is on a forage based diet and does well.... (read more) She has been stalled and currently lives outside with barn access in a mixed herd of domestic horses and a couple other mustangs. She's sound, healthy and super cute! She would do great with an older kid or small adult that is advance or working with a trainer. She is green but knows tons and is very soft and responsive. We have come to terms that she is just too much pony for our beginner child. Best home only for longterm and will require references.
