June is the right hand mare (8yr old) and Jane is the left hand mare (9yr old). June and Jane are a rare team of good looking, low down, old fashion BAY Percheron/Belgian cross mares!... (read more) They are full sisters that stand 16.1 hands and are currently weighing 1850 & 1950#. June and Jane have that beautiful, rich, dark bay color, long manes and tails, square hips, and solid black hooves. They are put together just the way you would want with no blemishes! They are well broke to all farm machinery and we have used them in town for different events hauling people. June and Jane stand well to hook up and rest. They are traffic safe tried and true, as we have driven them right alongside Hwy 52 here in MN with semis, big tractors and everything else you can think of without a bobble. We have owned June and Jane for 2.5 years and acquired them directly from the Amish Farm where they were born, raised, and broke to work on in LaGrange, IN. They will walk off steady, swing easily, and back up well. June and Jane did their fair share of field work and are still not afraid of work. They have straight legs, good feet and are good mothers. The colts they are carrying now will be the 3rd set of colts they have raised for us. Jane is due to foal 5/10/2025 and June is due 6/4/2025. Both mares are vet checked in foal. They are both in foal to “Poncho”, whom is a Bay Pulling Bred Belgian/Percheron cross stallion that my parents stand. They have been easy to foal out and always settled the first breeding back. If you’re looking a fancy, handy sized team that is willing to work, in a color that not everybody has, June and Jane are your gals. Current on deworming and farrier.
