This post is hard for me to make but I am selling my hackney pony gelding. Asking 1500 obo. He is grade and I have had him since he was about 1 1/2 -2 years old back in 2019 and he is now about 7 or 8. He is UTD on all vaccines and coggins and had his teeth floated in fall of 2024 as well as his sheath cleaned, and has never showed signs or lameness. He does not have or require shoes.
He is a super easy keeper with a great mindset and personality and i absolutely love him to pieces but I am growing up and thinking about going to college, I just simply do not have as much time for him anymore.... (read more)
I am 100% not in a rush to sell him but i’m putting him out there.
He pulls carts but he hasn’t had much experience being ridden but I have occasionally jumped on his back with no problems.
He’s pretty desensitized to a lot of things and has good ground manners, picks up his feet, stands when tied, stands for the vet and farrier.
The one downside to this handsome boy is that he cribs.
He could go in any direction!
