Im in a situation yall, please read the ENTIRE POST before reaching out.
I sold this horse VIA payment plan back in December, and the owner Is having financial difficulties and gave ownership back to me. He is being boarding in Apison TN. I am in the process of moving and cannot take him back until I’m set up which could be a few months. I am super busy as well with work, school and moving and have had no time whatsoever to go up there and visit him and reevaluate him.... (read more) Below is everything he has done with me, and while in Apison, he was used as a trail horse and did great. I was told he now W/Ts. I’m still open to a payment plan or straight up offers. If you are interested in him, I will not be able to be there at showings, but you are more than welcome to go and try him out. I have not seen him in months, but the barn owner and prior owner tell me that he has been doing lovely and is an overall pleasure. I’m also willing to answer any questions at all about him. So below is everything that I’ve done with him and his original ad.
Ozark is a 6 year old (vet aged) 14.2 hand grade Appaloosa gelding. This is by far the sweetest horse I’ve ever owned. He’s the first one at the gate, SUPER gentle and sane and is overall a sweetheart on the ground. Ground ties pretty well, picks up all four feet, stands for grooming etc. I had a 6 year old take him trick or treating this year and he was amazing.
Undersaddle he is green. Leadline, he is perfect. I throw kids on him and absolute beginners and he is an angel. Off lead, he is unsure. He’ll take a few steps and stop. He’s only walked with me, but previous owners say he’s trotted. The only problems I have come across so far is that when I got him he didn’t like to stand still for saddling or mounting and he’s come a LONG way. No bite, kicks, rear or anything like that since I got him in September. He goes English, western, and I’ve had people ride him bareback!
UTD on vaccines, has a current coggins, got a float in November, and has been cleared by the vet.
