This horse is awesome, he is cute, athletic, and bombproof. I've taken this horse everywhere and he hasn't batted an eye. He is an easy ride, collects beautifully, and loves to work. He is serious about his jobs, and I believe would really excel as a roper, barrel racer, or even just a trail/pleasure horse. He has been ridden in rodeos, can carry a flag, and I've taken him to overnight camping trips and he's always eaten and drank like a dream when away from home.... (read more) He learns quick, and likes his person. Seems to really like kids, but I wouldn't say he is a kid horse.
In the summer he sheds out into this beautiful metallic roan color.
His downfalls, he is top dog in a herd and has a large bubble when it comes to being near other horses while being ridden. But to be fair, I've asked him to be squished in between a bunch of horses in drill. He gets attached to mares easily so would do best being kept with geldings. Does require a strong rider because he has a big dominant personality. Once you've gained his respect he'll do anything for you.
