If you are looking for a safe, reliable partner to hit the trails or ride on the ranch with, then check out Scarlett. She is a trail horse deluxe, and has never met a hill too steep, water too deep, or a ride too long for her liking. Scarlett is a 10 year old GRADE bay mare, 15.1hh and very nicely built, with a good hip, plenty of bone, and a pretty head with a kind eye. She has exceptional ground manners and is so sweet, the type of horse that craves human attention and enjoys every minute of it.... (read more) Scarlett is gentle and doesn’t have to be ridden every day to stay that way, and you don’t have to worry about her doing anything silly like bucking, rearing, biting, kicking, or taking off. She has been taught to travel out and cover some ground, so you don’t have to peddle her along but you also don’t have to pull on her and hold her back the entire time either. Scatlett has a good one handed neck rein and stops easily, and has a smooth trot you could sit to all day long. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problems, and isn’t spooky. She has been hauled all over Texas to different ranches and state parks, on single and multi day trail rides, and is perfectly happy riding out alone, with a small group, or with a very large group of horses. Scarlett rides great in the arena as well, doesn’t mind carrying a flag, and would make a really nice drill team horse or lesson horse. She gets along great with other horses and can be pastured with mares or geldings without an issue. She has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
