Spark A Nation is a 2023 TB colt (not yet gelded). He is a great great great grandson to Triple Crown Winner Secretariat (dam's side) and a grandson to Kentucky Derby Winner Grindstone (sire's side)!

(read more) He is halter broke, leads, ties, stands to be groomed, picks up his feet, is easy to catch, not spooky, walks over tarps, loads in the trailer, let's you crawl underneath him, etc.

Very well minded colt. He will be easy to train into a safe, sane riding partner with the conformation and athletic ability to be competitive in any direction you desire.

His sire Allspark (not raced) was bred for racing with an all star pedigree such as his sire Grindstone (Kentucky Derby Winner), Black Tie Affair (graded stakes winner as a two, three, four, and five year old), Unbridled (Kentucky Derby and Breeders' Cup Classic winner), Mr. Prospecter (known as a sires of sire as many of his offspring where notably successful - his bloodlines have influenced thoroughbred across the world), as well as Secretariat's dam Somethingroyal!

His dam Discreet Gal, also racing bred, had 51 starts and a total lifetime earnings of $104,328 and retired completely sound! She is the great great granddaughter of Secretariat - triple crown winner and the fastest racehorse that ever lived!

Currently living on large acreage 24/7 with herd mates. Has been stalled before without issue. He is accustom to farm equipment, wild life, big game, farm critters, dogs, goats, chickens, etc.
