This versatile guy has been ridden by both advanced beginners and adult amateurs, though he’s athletic enough for an experienced rider to appreciate. He adores attention, enjoys being groomed, and is fantastic around kids and dogs. Handling him on the ground is a breeze, and you can clip him with no sedation needed. Broke to ride, Flash has all the skills in place—smooth, floaty gaits that make you feel like you’re gliding, and a jump so smooth you’ll never feel unseated. And when it comes to jumping, Flash LOVES it. He’s cleared jumps up to 3’6” with room to spare and has never even considered stopping or looking at one. He typically lands on the correct lead but also has a solid lead change.
Flash is responsive to leg pressure, can be ridden in a frame, or you can let out the reins and let him do his thing. He’s a pleasure to ride in the arena, but also loves to explore on a trail ride or hack through the woods. He’s just as happy leading or following and is consistently the same calm horse no matter where you place him. Well-traveled across the U.S., Flash loads easily, travels like a pro, and settles into new environments without any extra prep.
