Honey is a sweet in your pocket little mare who is always the first one to meet you at the gate. She stands quiet to brush tack and mount. She will walk if you ask her to but She does have some go so I would recommend a more intermediate to experienced rider for her. She is good on trail but does prefer to be in front and will go where you put her.
She is dominant In pasture with less dominant horses but not to the point where she would injure anyone.... (read more) When pastured with a dominant gelding she backed right down.
She loads and hauls with no issues she does paw when first loaded in trailer alone but will quit as soon as the trailer starts moving again.
She does need a little gait work and her price reflects that but she is a safe healthy gorgeous golden trail horse and look at them dapples! Wait till she sheds out - she s gonna gleam like gold!!
