Jax is a 7 year old grey grade gelding standing 14.3 hands tall. Jax is a big puppy in the pasture will meet you at the gate for scratches and to be caught. He gets along great with everyone in a mixed herd. Jax leads, loads and stands tied perfectly. He is great for bathes and picks up all feet well for the farrier. With us, Jax has mainly been used as a trail and ranch horse.... (read more) He has been taken on numerous weekend camping trips and handles everything well! He will cross water, logs and ditches perfect each time.

Jax stalls well and eats and drinks on the road great! On the ranch we have used Jax mainly to pen and sort cattle, but we have roped a few off of him and he handled it great!

Jax would best be suited for a confident beginner/ intermediate rider as he can walk out fast which may scare a complete beginner. He has NEVER offered to buck, bite, rear or kick and has always been super laid back and gentle. Jax is 100% sound and sane!
