10 year old, STOUT, Haflinger/QH cross. This guy can carry any size rider with ease, he is beefy and the easiest keeper around. Standing at 14.2 HH. He will check all your boxes of a well rounded trail horse. The best part about him is his mustache!

Flapjack is a veteran on the trails. He takes a little while to fully trust his person but responds well under saddle for anyone.... (read more) He does well with an experienced horse person as he can be pushy on the ground with a novice. Under saddle he is very patient and a great confidence builder for some more green riders. He is more whoa than go. He likes living stalled in the barn and doing arena work. He is very smart and willing to learn. We have enjoyed taking family trail rides with him this fall.

Flapjack is food motivated and prefers to be left alone while eating. He stands tied for the vet and farrier and trailers well. He is good in the wash bay. He has been through our program of desensitization and hasn’t flinched! Dogs, cats, kids, balls, tarps and ropes this guys seen it, and hasn’t been bothered. We have started working under saddle with him dragging things behind him, he gets a little nervous if the rope puts pressure on his butt but getting more confident.
