Selling my sweet gelding (beau) to the right home. 19yo registered quarter horse. I give kids beginner and intermediate lessons on him. He is the sweetest boy, comes right to you in the pasture and loves attention. He’s very calm, slow, and lazy. He’s the horse I put all my friends on who don’t know how to ride and he’s perfect for them, but will listen to someone who knows how to ride as well.
Vices: -throws his head up sometimes when taking the bit.... (read more) With molasses he takes it right away, or if you’re not a beginner you’ll get it right in. I worked with him for 10 min and he was taking It right away.

-sometimes doesn’t like being tied but will stand still without being tied. Just started this recently from an incident when he was tied, and can be fixed easily, I’ve never worked with him on it.

I will keep him if I don’t find the right fit! I started barrels and got a barrel horse that gets all my attention, and he doesn’t get any attention or exercise anymore unless I have a lesson. Also trying to downsize my farm. Text for more photos or videos
