I have a really gorgeous Friesian/Gypsy Vanner mare I would like to offer for a broodmare lease. I do not want to sell her, so I thought this might be a way for her to still be of service while I am so busy and unable to give her the time she deserves-While also offering someone the opportunity to get a baby of their dreams that might normally be outside of their budget. Many crosses would work well with her!

Her monthly board and care would need to be covered and all vet bills and nutritional needs etc.... (read more) Insurance would need to be taken out to cover her in case of any mishaps with her well being, pregnancy or delivery during the lease term. She is a maiden mare, so someone with experience or a very reliable vet who shares open communication with me will be crucial.

She is 15 hands, 7 years old, a gorgeous mover, no bad habits and a very good head on her shoulders. TONS OF HAIR. Beautiful head and soft kind eyes. She is not broke to ride, although I used to pony my daughter on her often. She’s very willing and laid back. Super easy keeper and doesn’t require grain-but she does take supplements for sweet itch due to our moist buggy location… Florida. With proper care, fly spray etc, it’s managed. This kind of regular tlc is what she needs right now and what I lack time for at the moment. A great opportunity for the right person. Let’s talk!
