He is accustomed to traveling over all sorts of varied terrain and handles each question as a proper gentleman would. From arena work, to handling a wide variety of terrain, Chief is a pleasure to ride. He’s not just a trail horse—Chief is well-trained in the arena and has a solid handle on him. He confidently handles himself well in various settings. And just for fun, Chief knows how to lay down.

What really sets Chief apart is his versatility. He’s no stranger to working with things like dragging milk jugs or tarps, shooting cap guns off his back, roping donkeys or calves, and he’s even had a bullwhip cracked on him. He is tolerant of teenage boys learning to rope of of his back and even roping his legs while being ridden. Chief has been previously used on a ranch horse and has helped brand calves and doctored cows. He enjoys showing off his tricks and loves new challenges, proving that he's not just a great ride—he's also full of personality.
His steady, reliable demeanor makes him a great companion and adventure friend. He has been exposed to a wide range of equipment including UTV and Tractor. He is comfortable around the farm dogs and sheep. He will easily trail ride on his own or in a group.
Chief is ready to continue his education and thrives being in a consistent program. Chief is up to date on all vaccines, deworming and teeth floating. He stands well for the farrier, is easy to load and haul on a trailer, and will stand tied for hours. He will happily put up with all the love, snuggles and shenanigans that one could dream up.
