Frank
Are you in search of the perfect trail partner? One that wants to go out and see all the sites and exciting stuff? Drop your reins and crack a beer (in my case Dr Pepper ?) open and have yourself a good time.
Frank is a 15yo grade gelding. Standing about 15.2-15.3 with a whole lot of size to him. He’s honest, calm and a stand out adventure partner. He will go anywhere you point him, water? No problem, logs, open gates, down busy roads?... (read more) He’s got it. If I take him to the trail course he will increase, I just have not had the time. Nothing bothers him. Flags, dirt bikes, dogs, wind chimes, tractors, go karts, goats, etc.
He has the absolute best time out, he’s got a very casual pace to him, not too fast, not too slow, head down and enjoying the sites. You can wrap your reins around the horn and he’ll take care of you!
Stands tied, great to saddle, bridle, brush, easy to pick up his feet. He’s freshly trimmed, i will throw a set of front shoes on him if he isn’t picked up before I can, this terrain isn’t forgiving. No known maintenance, no known health issues. Easy keeper. Stalled. Has been in with another horse and very low on the pole.
He is a TRAIL/ dude kinda horse. He does not want to sit in the arena, he doesn’t want to run barrels, if you want an arena horse please do not reach out. I will attach videos of him in the arena, however i want to confidently place him where he’ll be happiest. He’s got a nice smooth trot and lope, when first asking to lope he will give a little sass and swing his head and act like he’s having the time of his life in a very slow/ un amusing way. In no way shape or form does he have any buck bolt rear. I just do not think he was ever used in the arena. Would I trust you to throw your beginner friend on him and send them out on a trail, yes. He’s more confident than me out and about as if you know, trails are not my strong point ?
(My arena in video is extremely deep sand, and by no means dry yet underneath, I’m still working on it. The horses struggle a bit in it!)
He’s priced to move. If you are not ready to buy, with cash and trailer he isn’t your guy. Please do not waste my time. I do not mean this in a rude way, however I had a hefty loss on a colt I put a lot of time and money in to. I’m cutting back the heard to recoup.
I love this horse. He really makes trail riding enjoyable. You don’t have to have any worry.
You will not see them this price on my page very often.
