This is "WILLOW", a very well broke BAY MARE that has been harnessed, hitched, and driven by youth teamsters. She is well broke to ride, has a fancy way of traveling, and will go anywhere you point her. This mare is 14.3 hands tall and 8 years old. She is a trail riding machine that will cross water, go up and down steep embankments, and walk out nicely in the woods. She can out walk a horse twice her size. She is responsive, attentive, and has speed when you ask for it.... (read more) She has been driven on the main roads, is traffic safe, and not spooky. She has been in the pastures to check cattle and sheep. She has been ridden out alone by teenagers and will go with confidence. She has been ridden double, bareback, and in just a halter. She loves to go riding and has tons of heart. Even though she's 14.3, she can carry a large rider all day and not wear out. She has pulled a four wheeled wagon and a two wheel cart. This mare has also been hooked to farm machinery. She is a lot of fun and very versatile. She has excellent ground manners, stands to harness, hitch, tack, mount, and groom.
