I’ve really been putting this off, but due to a heavy work schedule, I am offering my boy to a loving home.

Prince Derek aka Otto is a 16.2/3 12 yo ottb gelding. This boy is big bodied, big boned, and built very well. He has a lovely puppy like personality and good ground manners. He loads perfectly, bathes, clips, straight and cross ties. He is perfect for vet and farrier. He wears 4 steel shoes as I will occasionally trail ride him on gravel.... (read more) He has never been lame or had any health issues since I’ve owned him.

I bought Otto in September 2023 and put him in a regular riding program. He has been trailered weekly to lessons and the occasional clinic. He has been schooling 2’3 courses and some small xc as well. He is still inconsistent in the sandbox but has shown great improvement and ability. He is a more forward mover but can be lazier in warmer weather. He has been trail ridden all over my farm with and without a saddle. He will walk, trot, and canter without any fussing. For the last 6 months he has been in light work which is why he is being offered for sale.

This horse loves being ridden on trails with or without a group. He would be a perfect trail horse, show jumper, eventer, or even fox hunter. I would recommend an experienced rider only because he is an athletic thoroughbred with some go. If you are looking for a fun ride then this is your guy.
