Very attractive and thick made AQHA 5 year old 15.2 Hand buckskin gelding with good bone and nice big feet. Caboose is an exceptionally good natured and gentle gelding. He has the ZIPPO PINE BARS breeding that I love. Every horse we’ve owned with this bloodline has always been good minded, non-reactive and gentle. In the arena Caboose will have a good one hand neck rein, smooth, traveling trot and lope and will stop like a dead end street. He back soft and side passes over to open and close the gates.... (read more) Caboose is very solid to ride out anywhere. On the trails, he will lead or follow, ride quietly in any position in a group as well as out alone. Crosses the river, creeks, trail, bridge, down timber, as well as the tarp and other trail obstacles. He is sure footed and navigates our steep and rocky trails very well. Caboose is equally good to ride around our neighborhood. He is safe and is unconcerned about all of the fast passing vehicles. He calmly walks past the mini farm animals as well as the neighborhood dogs that always run up barking at us. This is a very friendly and kind horse that loves people and attention. He gets along turned out with all other horses and is equally content in a box or a pen by himself. Caboose is good about everything, from tying, grooming, tacking, mounting, bathing, shoeing , loading and hauling. This is a nice and always gentle and easy-going horse that would fit a lot of folks. We have put beginners and green riders on him and he took great care of them. Our daughter in law who is just starting to get the horse bug takes him out in the neighborhood no problem He has no vices or bad habits and is 100% safe sane and sound! And he’s good lookin’!
