Popcorn is one cool little horse. If you want one that’s low to the ground but still big enough for a man to ride and use on the ranch, then check him out. Popcorn is 13.3hh and cute as can be, a flashy dun and white paint gelding. He is 11 years old and has spent the majority of his life on one ranch out in West Texas, where he was used for all phases of ranch work. He was the main mount for the 75 year old ranch foreman, and also was used by his grandkids in some playdays on the weekends.... (read more) Popcorn has been used for all phases of ranch work, including roping out in the pasture, dragging calves to the fire, sorting pairs and working pens. He would be perfect for a weekend rancher who wanted something safe to check cattle on, or for a handy kid to take to the playdays. But Popcorn enjoys a nice, quiet ride on the trails as well. He has a good one handed neck rein, stops easily, and is good on both leads. He has a very smooth trot you could sit all day long without getting sore, and a nice smooth lope. Popcorn isn’t spooky, will cross water, and work a gate. He gets along great with other horses, will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding. He has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. CHECK OUT HIS VIDEO AT: Watch Youtube Video Asking $6,500.
