Panda is a 15 year old Percheron/Friesian cross standing 16.1 hands high that’s as pretty as a picture. She is safe safe safe! Panda will pick up all three gaits but needs a little extra encouragement for the canter most times. She will stand all day, let the kids run all around her and climb all over her, she is patient and kind. Panda is trail and traffic safe and will quietly ride alongside the road or take on any of the trails. We ride her double with the little kiddos and she tolerates all of the shenanigans.... (read more) She crosses moving water, puddles, ditches, hills and is careful with her feet through ravines and roots. She will take the lead, follow in a group or hack out alone. Panda is always dependable and confident. Panda is said to drive but we have not hooked her ourselves. She has had several foals for previous owners and was a great mother and foaled easily on her own. Panda prefers to be outside, she will winnie in a stall for a little if she’s inside and then occupy herself with hay and she’s quiet. She is turned out with a mixed heard and does fantastic. This girl loads, ties, and has great ground manners. She is an easy keeper that stays plump on free choice orchard.
