This is "FRED FLINTSTONE", a gentle, quiet, relaxed, and calm BAY QUARTER HORSE GELDING that has been youth ridden. He rides around low headed and can be ridden by beginners and novice riders with no trouble. He stands 14.3 hands tall and is 11 years old. He has been handled, ridden, and caught by children. He lopes nice circles, stops easily, stands patiently, and is collected. He unloads in new territory quietly and rides off as if he has been there many times before.... (read more) He can be ridden with no bridle. He will one hand neck rein and move off of leg cues. He's quiet for the timid riders and a pleasure to ride for the experienced equestrians. He will ride double, in just a halter and lead rope, and he will pack saddle bags. He has been to the cross country courses and will cross the streams, travel over rocky terrain, and cautiously travels up and down steep terrain. He is a great horse for the whole family that is dependable, honest, pure, and steady. He will not go any faster than asked of him and is very forgiving of rider error.
