of Promises (Ophelia) retired in November 2023 with only 7 starts. Foaled April 8, 2020 (Flat Out - Veiled Vow, by Broken Vow). She retired sound, no injuries and no vices.

This sweet girl stands on crossties for grooming, stands for the farrier, easy to mount, easy to bring in and turnout. Ophelia is great to handle on the ground and has had natural horsemanship training. She is super smart and picks up new tasks very quickly. She trail rides alone or with a group, leading or following.... (read more) She is very proud of herself when she learns something new so has lots of potential for many disciplines. Can be anxious with other horses in the ring (never on the trail), so not best suited for a beginner. She’s turned out with three other mares and is friendly and respectful.

Her trot is very balanced and rhythmic. Soft mouth and will take contact with a soft hand. Moves off leg/body. Lunges, started pole work. Ophelia is up to date on all her vaccines, coggins, dental and deworming. She is currently barefoot and sound.

Ophelia is for sale only because I’m older and not able to give her the training/work that she needs. I am looking to place her in a permanent home where she can thrive with her person.
