I was very fortunate to get Buddy from the Peabody Horse Pen.
He is being DNA tested and will be registered with the curly horse association (ICHO). He either carries one curly gene, and is a part-bred Percheron, or he is a purebred Percheron with two curly recessive genes. That would be very rare, but there have been two purebred Percheron curlies registered with that association.
