This is "COAL TRAIN", a very nice, well trained, experienced, and versatile BLACK PERCHERON QUARTER HORSE CROSSBRED gelding that is broke to ride and drive. This gelding is 4 years old and stands 15 hands tall. He has been ridden on the trails, in the woods, in the pastures and on the main roads. He has been driven through the cross country driving courses, through icy water, and on the roads. This gelding will lope circles, catch his leads, and stop hard.... (read more) He backs up, is soft in the bridle, and obedient. He lopes off with no hump and unloads quietly in unfamiliar places and rides off nicely. He has been around camels, dogs, lots of other horses, cattle, goats, and sheep. He is a great horse that you can enjoy trail riding and then drive him to church on a Sunday. He stands to harness, hitch, tack, mount, and groom. He is a solid horse with a lot of sense, ride, and stamina. He has good bone and feet. This gelding walks out nicely, rides out alone, and is also fine in a group. He has been on camping trips and will stand tied overnight. He will also hook up to farm machinery and work.
