How many people can say they have a team of American quarter horses that can not only Ride but can Work Hard and Drive. What an amazing, beautiful team of horses we have. The team is 9 yrs old and updated on everything. Vet was out Feb 7, 2025. Teeth, shots, coggins and worming are all done and good for a year. If need a health exam not problem but at buyers expense. The only thing they need is shoes. Our place is so muddy right now they would pull them right off.... (read more) So they are barefoot right now. Last time these horses were worked 2 weeks ago. Weather and life has been crazy. Let me tell you more about these beauties.
Mrs.Kay is a Beautiful reg 14.2 hand tall cow-bred APHA paint mare! Is out Peptospoonful and Quejanaisalena granddaughter of both. If you're looking to make some outstanding APHA cutters or cowhorses then check this good girl out! She will ride around, neck reins and backs nicely but was not finished in any particular event. She is ready for you to finish your way. She is quiet and safe and not mareish. Young and lots of years left! Then she will also turn around and take on a heavy or light load of pulling. She will pull wagons, buggy’s, farm equipment and hold any cow. This girl is very tough and powerful. She will need an experienced riding as she has lots of go go in her.
Trooper is a gorgeous gelding that stands 15 hands tall. Trooper rides out alone or in a group of horses just fine and has been on many trail rides and parades. He is very quiet under saddle and easily handled and ridden by 12yr old timid rider. More a slower lazy gelding. Trooper is trained to pull a carriage single, pull as a team on a wooden or rubber wheel wagon as well as he has been hooked to farm equipment. This is a really nice gelding and will not last long!! Would like to sale both horses as a team but will split if needed.
Both horses are great with their feet, trailering and unloading easy, will stall nicely, stand tied well and is easy to tack and harness.
These are truly great pair of horses and can do so many things that others horses can’t. Don’t see many quarter horses that can really truly work.
