Blue Doc is one FANCY 15.1 hand 1350# gelding that is gentle and well broke to ride. This gelding was bred and raised by a good friend in our area that is known for raising good looking blue roans.... (read more) We had the pleasure of training this beautiful gelding back when he was 3 for Kayla’s parents. He was a joy to ride from the start and grown into one nice all around gelding. The past 4 years Kayla’s parents have rode Blue Doc at every weekend camping trip they have been on. He’s seen every mile of trails at several state parks and camping sites in MN, IA, WI and Eminence, MO. Not only has he excelled out on trail, but he is no slouch in the arena with the smoothest lope you’ll ever sit. Blue Doc is soft, supple, steps right into his leads on cue, and stops well. Kayla has hauled him to the ranch horse shows and placed well on him. We have also hauled him to ranch rodeos, fun day shows, team sorting & team roping practices. Kayla has been learning to rope slow steers on him and he does an excellent job remaining quiet in the box, tracking to position and giving her an opportunity to catch. We also have both ridden him many miles on our annual Pony Express ride alongside major highways without a bobble. The list of things we have done with Blue Doc is endless. This good looking gelding has been in our family his whole life and we are very proud to offer him! Blue Doc is a cowboy colored gelding that comes with a long resume and is ready for his next owners to enjoy him as much as our family has. Current on dental, deworming, and farrier!
