Code is a beautiful sorrel gelding who stands about 14.3 hands and has roaning
throughout his entire body.... (read more) He is bred incredibly well on both sides of his
pedigree. Code is a fancy mover and will be a stand out in the ranch riding
classes as well as the cow classes. He is smooth, easy to ride, and has great
speed transitions. He spins a hole in the ground, changes leads with ease, and
has a ton of WHOA. He is a great reining horse and is solid in all maneuvers. He's
been shown in the NRHA classes and done very well. He is ready to continue his
reining show career or venture into whatever other avenue you please. He is
100% sound and willing to please. Code has exceptional ground manners and is
easy to own and easy to be around.
Code has an EXCELLENT, ground covering trot perfect for the working western classes - he'll be a done deal in the Ranch Horse Versatility events, he just needs a pilot! Code is more whoa than go, but he's also responsive and easy to keep moving in all of his gaits. He is soft in the bridle and steers with ease! He can be ridden without a bridle, even. Code likes to please his rider and doesnt ever say "no" or want any trouble, he is very consistent and always the same horse for us. He crosses water, ground cover, all terrain, rides around kids, dogs, etc and side passes both directions as soon as you ask him to.
Code is easy to keep, does not require much feed to stay thick and slick. He can be kept inside or out, with a herd or by himself. He is UTD on all routine shots/deworming, completely sound, and requires no maintenance or special care - he truly is the whole package, he's beautiful, good-minded, fun to ride AND hasnt been used and abused. Code is the perfect age, too - He's already passed the rookie years and has his entire life ahead of him! He will be a great forever horse for his next owner, we've really enjoyed him and our assistant will be bummed to see him go - she loves riding this guy!
