With a been-there-done-that mentality, nothing rattles this guy and makes him the go-to mount for any job. We use Nacona regularly for all aspects of ranch work including gathering, sorting, doctoring, dragging calves, checking fences, relocating strays, roping wild/loose cattle, and any other tasks that can be done horseback. He has even done several tours at the famous 6666’s Ranch for their spring and fall works. To boot, he has been hauled all over the states to numerous ranches, team ropings, ranch rodeos, play days, ranch shows, trail rides, parades, camping trips, summer camps,…you name it, he’s seen it!!
Nacona has outstanding ground manners and is very easy and gentle to handle. Stands tied quietly in any environment, hauls, clips, bathes, great for the farrier, and is the same horse every time you pull him out of the pasture whether it’s once a month or every day.
