Beautiful, built like a tank! Blank slate QH Colt to bring along your own way. He was given ample time to mature and grow, hasn’t had his legs worked off him and sells 100% sound guaranteed. Standing around 14h, and STOCKY. Heavy boned, wide set chest, round hindquarters, and nice thick legs. Conformationally well put together. Flaxen sorrel with a touch of curl to his mane, lots of chrome, and a roman nose. He has a nice demeanor for a colt, is pastured out on only electric next to our mares.... (read more) Respectful of fencing, low end of the herd. Never offered to strike, bite or kick. No fussing or hollering around the mares. He has been haltered over the late summer and gentled. Will lead and give to pressure, has been worked with on the line and in the pen a bit. He’s got a pretty a basic understanding of how things work, pretty eager to please and do the right thing. Will meet you at the gate, but can be shy to be caught but doesn't take much. Once caught he handles well. Would be a nice project and using horse for a competent colt starter or cowboy to get now, and have under saddle this summer. Please keep in mind, this is a gentled stud colt and not a beginner project. He is out of a grade QH dam and an APHA sire with nice bloodlines.
Located in Sanilac County, MI. Will consider a trade for that old retired horse you are needing to replace with a young one - the old and duller the better. Would be brushed, loved on and ridden around the farm by our young horse girls! Will also consider trades for hay.
