Dexter is a handsome champagne Kentucky mountain gouging that is 12 years old and stands exactly 15 hands tall. This is a been there done that horse that has been shown in trail ridden in several different states. This horse truly is a pleasure to work with and never causes any issues.... (read more) He is always laid-back and peaceful, aiming to please. He is very clean and quiet in his stall and gets along well with other horses. On the trail, Dexter is confident and surefooted, and will ride at the speed you ask him to go slow or fast.. He has a nice relaxed walk, goes right into gait and can move on out when I asked without getting hot or pushy. He also has a very nice easy to sit lope. Dexter handles his self well in the rough terrain and is traffic safe as well. He has a beautiful long, flowing mane and tail to complement that beautiful champagne color.
