She is broke to ride and drive. This mare will also hook up and work to farm machinery single or double. She is beginner and novice friendly, very dependable, honest, and pleasant. This mare stands to harness, hitch, tack, mount, and groom. She has been ridden by youth riders with no problems.... (read more) She has been ridden English and Western in the arena and works a circle. She has been out on the trails and through the cross country driving courses. She will cross streams and deep water quietly, willingly, and without hesitation under tack or harness. She is user friendly and has no tricks or surprises. She loads and unloads quietly, hauls, bathes, stands tied, and has excellent ground manners. She will ride double, bareback, and in just a halter and lead rope. She has pulled wagons in parades, been on week long wagon trains, and been to large organized trail rides and packed beginners around the whole time. This mare is the really hard to find kind, turn the novice rider loose on her and they will come back smiling. She will not go any fast than asked of her and rides calm and cool in all situations. She unloads quietly in new surroundings and rides or drives off with no issues. She is fine with dogs, heavy equipment, traffic, side by sides, etc. She handles rough and rocky terrain with ease and is extremely sure footed.
