Thor stands 16 hands weighing 1300 and wears a size 2 shoe. He’s a big stout heavy made horse with a pedigree to go along with him. He is sired by Bowman’s Metallic Cat and is RIATA BUCKLE eligible.... (read more) Thor is making a great head horse, and he is the kind that will fit a large variety of ropers. He’s gentle gentle and will go whatever speed he is asked. If you rope in the 8’s and 9’s he will fit you, but if you need some speed and talent for the higher numbered ropings he’s got all of those capabilities as well! Thor has been used outside to doctor yearlings, brand calves, sort pairs, and he’s been used in the feedyard. He’s got a fancy handle and a lot of talent for a big horse. Thor is gentle enough for an inexperienced rider to enjoy in the arena or out on the trail as well. He’s sound, healthy, built how one should be, and we are proud to offer this gelding to the public.
