Shane is an attractive, good natured, gentle and kind 7 year old, 16.1 hand bay gelding. This is a very cool, talented double registered AQHA /APHA gelding. He is well bred and super fun to ride. Shane has all the gears. Lots of rhythm and cadence. Very nice, comfortable, collected lope, jog and a sweeping trot. He is very pleasant, natured, sound and good minded. Rides both English and western. In the arena, Shane will collect up well, he has a smooth traveling trot and will lope out on cue.... (read more) Stops and backs soft and will side with ease to open and close gates. Good one hand, neck rein and is very user-friendly to ride and work with. He has been ridden around our busy neighborhood as well as out on our rugged mountain trails. He is good about all fast passing traffic, the neighborhood dogs that run up at us as well as riding past the mini farm with all the goats, pigs, ducks, etc. Shane is equally solid out on the trails. He will lead, follow, and ride quietly in a group as well as out on his own. Crosses the river, downed timber and trail obstacles. He is a horse that is willing to do anything that is asked of him. Shane is 100% sound with no vices or bad habits. Ties, bathes, loads, hauls and is good for the farrier. He is a very nice, good minded and get along kind of gelding that would fit a lot of riders.
