Breve is a 5-year-old AQHA-registered, 14.1-hand dappled grey gelding who stands out for his great size, versatility, and calm, friendly demeanor. He’s an ideal choice for adults seeking a reliable trail partner or children looking for a horse to show. Breve has consistently excelled in our program, displaying a gentle, willing-to-please attitude that makes him easy to work with. He’s very affectionate, loves attention, and is always easy to catch in the pasture.... (read more) He gets along well with other horses and He’s also very clean in his stall, making him easy to care for. Breve is smooth and comfortable to ride, with three excellent gaits that make him a pleasure to work with, whether you’re riding Western, English, or bareback. He’s also well-suited for driving, making him a true all-around horse. He’s been exposed to a variety of environments and situations, including riding on state roads, through town, and in traffic, and is always calm and dependable. He’s been on many trail rides and is excellent with water crossings and knows his leads. Breve wears shoes on all four feet due to the type of terrain we ride on, but he has solid, healthy hooves and could easily go barefoot if preferred. He’s been exposed to tarps, jugs, gunshots, bull whips, and other desensitizing training, and remains unfazed in any situation. He can even lay down on cue, demonstrating his responsiveness and calm nature. His good manners and kind heart make him a joy to be around both in and out of the saddle.
