Maple is a 12 year old mare who is just above 15 hands. She is smart and loves to be groomed. Maple comes right up to you in the field and is very easy to catch. She was kept as a broodmare prior to our ownership, and would likely be a great mom. She was previously severely neglected, but has now been brought up to proper weight, and has a gorgeous coat and solid feet once more. Maple does tend to get attached to her field mates, but has improved steadily in this regard with focused work.... (read more) We have begun training Maple with round pen work and under saddle, and she is showing promise. She is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, trimming and teeth. Maple needs an intermediate to advanced rider, as she is only greenbroke. Videos available on request.
