Fergie is a healthy girl and came off the track sound, no known previous injures, and barefoot. She retired due to her being slow, and it shows! She has three lovely gates. Fergie is definitely a more woah than go type of gal, but has a tank when asked. She will give you her all and try her hardest.... Fergie she has a great smooth trot and canter. While she is still green, she is eager to learn and shows tons of potential for any discipline, especially on the hunter side.
She will thrive with an advanced rider, or a novice working with an experienced trainer.

Ever since coming off the track Fergie has been learning the basics, including:
trail riding
ground tying
desensitization
lunging
leg yielding
accepting contact
and even a couple of jumps

Fergie is naturally curious and loves finding new things to see and investigate, making her a joy to work with. I have taken her to multiple trail rides and she enjoys every minute of it, she has even gotten up to the trot on a loose rein on an open pasture with no problems, and even cantering a bit. On the trail she can go alone and with friends!
