Butterscotch is one of a kind dappled from head to toe this handsome boy is anyone's dream horse, from personality to conformation Butterscotch is a dream to be around. Butterscotch does whatever his rider asks with no arguments and will always try his very best to please.
He has a resume that stretches a mile long.... (read more) Butterscotch is a handy horse to have, rope a cow, step of to doctor, and he will hold a tight rope. Need to drag something? No problem Butterscotch is a strong boy that can pull anything you put behind him. Take him to the arena, head a few steers on him or take him sorting or penning. He could go do any ranch classes no problem.
He will collect up nicely in a dog bone snaffle and get super fancy, he could go English or western. Butterscotch has a nice rocking chair lope and is very easy to sit.
He will ride off of legs and seat or neck rein, or throw someone who knows nothing about horses on him and he will point and go just as easily.
Butterscotch is a joy to have in the barn and everyone loves him everywhere we go.
When hauled off our property he is the same horse anywhere you take him. He’s a very laid back horse that doesn’t mind anything.
He would be perfect for anyone with a disability or bad knees, as he stands to mount and will stand by a fence to mount, crawl on a Picnic table and hop on or get a mounting block. Butterscotch is stocky enough to carry any sized rider comfortably as well. Pictures don’t do this guy justice. Butterscotch is 5 years old 15.1H about 1,300lbs. This is a solid gelding with good foot and bone structure.
Butterscotch has been exposed to all farm machinery, road traffic, gunshots(we have a game farm next to the property always shooting), deer, cattle, you name it.
Sound and up to date on Coggins, teeth, and Feet. He also comes with a vet check.
This gelding has been great to work with in every aspect.
No matter what direction you want to go this gelding will be sure to take you there. He has all the buttons, will spin, slide stop, side pass, leg yield or just point and go.
Gentle flashy and broke this gelding is the Perfect fit for anyone. I trust putting my 3 year old daughter on Butterscotch he is that nice!
