This is "PHOENIX", an intelligent 4 year old BUTTERMILK BUCKSKIN GELDING that has been ridden in the indoor arenas as well as outside and on the trails. He has been on the roads and through the pastures. He is 14.3 hands tall. He aims to please and is smart, well mannered, and patient. He has been through the deep water, on the steep trails, through the mud, and on rocky footing. He really tries hard to please his rider and does whatever is asked of him willingly.... (read more) He lopes off quietly and is a nice mover. He stops nicely, backs up, and moves out when asked. He is learning to work off of leg cues as well. He is cool colored, sturdy made, and has a head full of sense. This is a great young horse with a superb foundation of training that is ready to go work for you. He is a nice trail horse that will ride out alone with no problems. He has good ground manners, he stands tied, bathes, hauls, and loads with no issues.
