Tucker has already proven himself to be a remarkable partner. With a wonderful temperament, good basics, and a kind personality, he makes every ride fun! Whether you’re tackling trails or working in the arena, Tucker is the same reliable, willing, and kind-hearted horse every time.
Calm & Steady Temperament – A fantastic choice for riders seeking a trustworthy horse. Tucker is still young, so he would be best suited to a confident advanced beginner in a program or an intermediate rider.... (read more)
Versatile & Well-Rounded – Rides both English and Western. He has extensive trail experience, confidently crosses water, navigates varied terrain, & easily walks over down limbs. Tucker rides out alone or in a group.
Tucker has a solid foundation with 3 big lovely gaits. While he has primarily been ridden western, he shows lovely potential for lower level dressage and recently started over fences. He has been ridden by both professionals and adult amateurs. He's versatile enough to excel in whatever discipline you choose.
Tucker is easy to catch, halter and lead. He stands great for the farrier & vet. When trailering, he loads, hauls and unloads great.
He is lower-ranking in the herd and enjoys group turnout. He especially loves running around playing with our 3-year-old gelding.
Tucker is barefoot and has no tenderness when crossing our gravel driveway.
This sweet gelding deserves a great home where he can continue to thrive. He is up to date on coggins, hoof care, vaccinations, and deworming and is ready for his next chapter.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, smooth, sound, and safe partner, Tucker might be the one! Please send a message with what your looking for and lest see if Tucker is the right match for you.

Offering foundational training for performance horses, while addressing individual issues, utilizing a wholistic approach based on equine psychology, physiology, and biomechanics. These sound principles benefit all equine partners for ANY discipline. I have experience with draft crosses, stock horses, and ponies.
The basics we work towards with each horse are forward, soft, supple, & willing. We encourage curiosity in all of our horses and exposing them without making them dull, and sensitive without being afraid. Horses are typically trailered to different places 2+ times a week (Depending on time of year & weather) but are worked with a minimum of 5 sessions per week. We haul to local barns to ride in an indoor and outdoor arenas & trail rides to expose them to different terrain & obstacles creating a more versatile and confident mount. The benefit of exposure to real life outside can’t be overstated.
Rest assured, your horse will come back home a better horse than when it was, I keep communication lines open and up to date as well as videos and photos of our experiences.
