At just 5 years old (turning 6 in June) and standing 15 hands, Tucker has already proven himself to be a remarkable partner. Registered with the Gypsy Horse Registry as a crossbred, he’s got the wonderful temperament, good basics of training, and kind personality to make every ride a joy.
Whether you’re tackling trails or working in the arena, Tucker is the same reliable, willing, and kind-hearted horse every time.
Highlights
Safe: Tucker’s calm and steady demeanor makes him a fantastic choice for riders seeking a horse they can trust.... (read more) He’s best matched with someone who knows their way around horses simply because I don't believe young horses no matter how "broke" need to be matched with beginner owners/riders. He is a fun ride with a great personality.
Arena: Tucker has a nice W.T.L. We are working on a lead change. He’s light and responsive to cues. He has primarily been ridden western but would shine in the english world too. He’s versatile enough to excel in whatever discipline you choose if given the chance.
Trail Star: Non-spooky and happy to explore, Tucker rides alone or with others, making him a great trail partner. Great with crossing creeks, climbing hills, and walking over fallen trees.
Easy to manage: Tucker has good barefoot hooves, is easy to handle for trimming, stands tied, loads, and hauls great.
Herd-Friendly: A lower-ranking member of the herd, Tucker thrives with kind companions and LOVES playing with our 3-year-old gelding.
This sweet gelding deserves a lovely forever home where he can thrive with a versatile rider.
He’s up to date on his coggins, hoof care, vaccinations, and deworming—ready to step into his next chapter.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, smooth, sound and safe partner, Tucker might just be the one you've been looking for.
Serious inquirers please pm what your looking for in a horse and feel free to tell me about yourself so I can tell you if he is a match for you. Make sure you get your partners approval or any other reasons you cant proceed with purchasing out of the way first. Thank you!

Offering foundational training for performance horses, while addressing individual issues, utilizing a wholistic approach based on equine psychology, physiology, and biomechanics. These sound principles benefit all equine partners for ANY discipline. I have experience with draft crosses, stock horses, and ponies.
The basics we work towards with each horse are forward, soft, supple, & willing. We encourage curiosity in all of our horses and exposing them without making them dull, and sensitive without being afraid. Horses are typically trailered to different places 2+ times a week (Depending on time of year & weather) but are worked with a minimum of 5 sessions per week. We haul to local barns to ride in an indoor and outdoor arenas & trail rides to expose them to different terrain & obstacles creating a more versatile and confident mount. The benefit of exposure to real life outside can’t be overstated.
Rest assured, your horse will come back home a better horse than when it was, I keep communication lines open and up to date as well as videos and photos of our experiences.
