Spice is such a versatile and fun little horse! She is always safe no matter how long she sits. If you are looking for a horse that is athletic, willing, and up for anything, Spice just might be your girl!! She is naturally a more forward mover and wants a job but is always controllable even bridleless! She has great movement and scope, not to mention absolutely stunning to boot! She is considered a varnish roan which is an Appaloosa trait. In the spring/summer she is mostly white and as she starts growing her winter coat, that turns to a dark chestnut with rabicano type markings as well as appaloosa leopard spots.... (read more) I have always been more of a quarter horse girl but I would have given anything to have a horse like this when I was a kid. I don’t think I have ever ridden a horse her size with as much natural talent and versatility. We call her mountain goat because she will go literally anywhere you point and loves challenging terrain. Spice has absolutely great feet and is barefoot even on all this rock. She has good ground manners and will stand tied, is good for the farrier, self load, stand for saddling, etc. She has been started on barrels and poles and will make a jam up play day horse!! She would also be great for endurance and I have a reference from an endurance rider that came and tried her and absolutely loved her! Spice has been used on the ranch and was solid and dependable all day. Spice has a great handle and has been exposed to a lot. Spice is a blast on the trail and never says no. You point and she goes!! She has also been jumped and is green but willing! She would be great for a youth or smaller adult that wanted to do anything and everything. She has a heart the size of Texas and will never quit on you. Not to mention she is built perfect and you can’t find a bad angle on her. She is up to date on coggins, just had her teeth floated, and can easily get a health certificate to go out of state if needed.

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... (read more) They are put through it all and if there is a hole, we will find it!! Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!! Be sure to check out our videos on youtube as we try to show absolutely everything we can so you feel like you know them before you ever bring your new horse home. Most of our buyers purchase and ship them off of their videos so we aim to be as comprehensive as possible. Don’t ever hesitate to ask if you want to see something that isn’t shown also.
