Spice is confident and will do anything you ask her to without hesitation. She goes out on the trails alone or in a group, through water, traffic, flag colts, obstacles, jump, easily navigates hills and bluffs, etc. Spice has great feet and can go barefoot but we do keep shoes on everything here because we are so rocky. She gets along in a mixed herd which consists of colts, performance horses, brood mares, and even mini horses.
Spice would be a PHENOMENAL youth horse.... (read more) She is always safe even bareback and bridleless. Absolutely no buck or anything nasty or dangerous ever!! She rides both English and western and has really easy to ride gaits. Spice loves being groomed and will ground tie for you to brush, saddle, fly spray, clean her feet, etc.
She will as started on the ranch so has been roped off of and knows a hard days work. Since then she has been roped off of, run barrels, has a good start on poles, sort and push cattle, starting colts, cross country, jumping, and even some lessons.
Spice is beautifully put together little horse. Don’t let her size fool you, she rides like a big horse and is made to last! I adore this mare and I know she is going to be someone’s dream some true!!

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!! Be sure to check out our videos on youtube as we try to show absolutely everything we can so you feel like you know them before you ever bring your new horse home. Most of our buyers purchase and ship them off of their videos so we aim to be as comprehensive as possible. Don’t ever hesitate to ask if you want to see something that isn’t shown also.
