Honey is the sweetest mare! She has ZERO mareish attitude and loves to go places. She is low man in the pecking order and is with a herd of mares, geldings, and even mini horses with no issues. Honey will meet you at the gate and practically halters herself. She has been ridden both English and western but no matter the discipline, she really just loves to trail ride and go exploring! Honey is not spooky and can be ridden anywhere alone or with a group.... (read more) She is traffic and town safe, rides through water, any kind of terrain, isn’t buddy sour, and truly just safe and good minded in all situations. Honey stands 15 hands and is STOUT!! She has good clean legs and blemish free. Honey is good for the farrier and I can trim her with an electric grinder no issue. She is BAREFOOT even on all of our rock which is really saying something because even our broodmares are shod. Honey will ride in any kind of bit or nothing but a string. My son can do anything with her, HOWEVER, he was not willing to be videod so the footage I got was very limited that day. Honey has been ranched on and knows how to work a rope. She also has been lightly jumped and is started on the barrels. She is a jack of all trades but being someone‘s heart horse is her true calling! You can pick something different to do every day of the week and she will do them all with pleasure. This mare wants to be someone’s best friend!!

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!! Be sure to check out our videos on youtube as we try to show absolutely everything we can so you feel like you know them before you ever bring your new horse home. Most of our buyers purchase and ship them off of their videos so we aim to be as comprehensive as possible. Don’t ever hesitate to ask if you want to see something that isn’t shown also.
