Dyno JC name “Dynamiter” is a 6 YO 16.3hh OTTB chestnut gelding. He retired end of August in 2024 from racing at Hastings. I have lightly restarted him and he was going walk trot, transitions, circles, serpentines, trot poles, and trail rides. With a little bit of canter work before December. Since December he has not been ridden and only done lunging and ground work. Saying that, he is the same horse everytime I would get on him and always picked up where we left off.... (read more) Super willing to please and has a good attitude about working! He stands for the farrier for hot shoeing like a pro (does require at least front shoes as he has typical TB feet), I have practiced loading and unloading him and he hops in like a gem, he is starting to understand voice commands and lunging and is coming along really nice in that place. He’s a super easy horse to handle, even at the track (I groomed for the stable he was at) and always walked like a doll. He has a loving puppy dog personality. He’s super chill and friendly with our cows, good with loud machinery, hasn’t spooked or offered to buck or anything naughty undersaddle. Overall he’s a chill dude! At times he can be slightly pushy (but not overly) if I’m being completely transparent but listen well to being corrected. I had planned to keep him for longer and train him up more, but I’m a full time university student with a part time job and he has been put on the back burner. And I don’t want him to go to waste and would totally keep him I felt he wasn’t bored! He will make an awesome event horse, hunter, jumper, dressage, you name it! Could be negotiable on price depending on home as I want him to go somewhere good! PM me for more photos and videos.
