Takoda is a STUNNING 8 year old registered SSH gelding standing a solid 14.3 hands tall. Takoda has a beautiful rare look about him.... (read more) He has two marbled blue eyes that are partially blue and partially brown (pictures do not do them justice). Takoda is best suited for advanced beginner riders and up! Takoda has a puppy dog personality and is the first one to meet you at the gate! He is extremely easy to catch out in the pasture and also stalls very well. Takoda is hobble trained and well as picket line trained. This sweet boy stands for the farrier, stands for tacking and mounting. Takoda has a very smooth gait and canter. He has been around cows, dogs, various wildlife, traffic, farm equipment etc. Takoda is great on the trails. He rides alone or in a group with no issues. He has absolutely no buck, rear, or bolt, and is very easy to ride and control under saddle. In a herd setting he is medium in the pecking order. He doesn’t kick other horses nor is he overly dominant in nature. So, he would fit right in with most herds.
