For consideration: Baytown Trouble (Loon) -8 yo, is a sensitive horse with a big heart. She has shown locally with high placings through the .90’s in the jumper ring, schooled up to 3’9”, ridden trails and on the beach, jumped bareback in a halter, as well as been used in some lessons, and stepped into the occasional summer camp and unmounted therapeutic lesson. She loves nothing more than to be groomed and cuddled in the barn.
She wants to please, but currently needs an experienced handler/rider.... (read more)
Originally from the track, she went to an initial home, and landed in an eventing barn where she got some show experience before she came to me. She’s got some quirks!
Special considerations:
Diagnosed with ERU, has implant to prevent flare ups. Wears fly mask 24/7. Can be spooky to do slight vision loss out of left eye.
Bicepital bursitis present in left front. No heat or swelling. Managed with stretches, gentle hill conditioning, and strengthening under saddle
I suspect possibility of kissing spine. Currently out of mounted work for her comfort until diagnostics/treatment.
I am heartbroken to consider sale, but following a move and a death in my family, I’m currently unable to provide her with what she needs to be her most happy self.
I would love to see her go to a pro who will be patient and allow her the time that she needs to develop into a horse who can help young riders learn the ropes.
Only willing to sell to those with references!
