Red is an 18 yr old grade QH gelding looking for a new home and a soft place to fall. He needs some more TLC and weight gain. He’s had his teeth floated back in December. Teeth were in pretty bad shape and he had to have a couple of top molars removed on each top side. He still can not chew hay, just ends up in wads. He is fed beet pulp for fiber and senior feed twice a day. He’s been on this regimen since November 14.
Red is a great old man.... (read more) He’s just been a trail horse and confident builder for an older lady the last 6 years. Red doesn’t get in a hurry. His favorite gait is walk with an occasional trot. He’s been ridden in a snaffle. He’s the same horse every time, the one you can just saddle up and go. His only vice is he can be hard to catch but he’s very food motivated. His owner has fallen on hard times is the only reason he’s being offered to a new home. Please consider giving Red a chance.
