Superb show hunter/jumper and/or foxhunt prospect. Exceptional pedigree - FULL BROTHER to champion steeplechaser Mr. Hot Stuff and sire (!!!) Colonel John ('08 Travers winner).

Purchased at Keeneland for $150,000 as a yearling.

Fightinirishtabit (barn name "Hottie") is one of the prettiest horses you will ever see. During his racing career, he won Best Turned Out no fewer than 5 times. He's tall, muscular and athletic.... (read more) Versatile and experienced, he raced on dirt, turf, synthetic, and over hurdles, amassing 6 wins and earnings of $122,457. A lovely jumper, he has cleared fences/obstacles as high as 4'4".

"Hottie" has loads of personality! He last raced in May of 2023, and has mellowed out considerably since being turned out and away from the racing environment. He's still a little feisty, but in a lovable way. He likes women.

NO VICES (cribbing, weaving, stall-walking, etc). He's a perfect gentleman in that regard. No history of colic or other serious illnesses. He's been a sound, tough and low-maintenance horse.

Now 10 years old, "Hottie" is ready for his next chapter. He's got so many years left in him, and he'd be a stunner of a show horse. We are committed to finding him a good home and second career.

Currently turned out in Colts Neck, NJ. Will show by appointment.
