Beautiful and sweet 6 year old double registered Bay Shetland miniature mare with 2 reserve AMHR National Champions wins. Gypsy has been exposed to a multi Grand Champion Black and White paint stallion for a possible 2025 summer/fall foal.
She is super sweet and so easy to catch. She is always the first one to meet you at the gate. She leads and loads great! She will smile for treats and is also the first to nicker and greet you in the morning.... (read more) She is not a child’s riding pony, as she has only been shown in halter and has also been a great broodmare. She is a proven brood mare, has had two foals, and is an excellent mother.
Her papers have been brought up to permanent status. She has also had coat color testing at UCDavis.
Gypsy was trained and shown by James Walsh. She has two Reserve National Champions to her credit. She comes with her coat color testing results along with a top of the line pedigree, beautiful comformation, and a sweet personality. She has gorgeous mealy color on her muzzle and around her eyes which adds to her beautiful feminine appearance. She is a bay, but with her coloring, she would also be considered a seal brown. She does carry a red gene, so could produce palomino, buckskin or Smokey black when bred to a dilute stallion. Her sire and dam are both famous show horses with stellar pedigrees.
Gypsy leads and loads great. Again, she is just such a super sweet mare. Only for sale because she does not get along well with our older mini mare.
