Here is an all around mare that the whole family can enjoy! From a hard days work, to a playday, to a fun and relaxing trail ride, she is your go to girl. Lady is a beautiful dun mare who is so much prettier in person than she is in a picture.... (read more) She is 8 years old, stands 14.1-14.2 hands, and is built like a brick house! Lady is an outstanding horse that has the best mind and temperament you could ask for. Perfect ground manners, easy to catch, groom, saddle, and wears a size 74 blanket come winter time. Lady has been used for everything under the sun! She has been used at the cow sale to move cattle up and down the alleys, have doctored some cattle outside on her, gathered cattle off wheat fields and MOST importantly, she has been a solid all around horse for a woman rider and kids. The kids have walked and trotted her through the playday events with no issues. She’s got a willing attitude and a great handle with lots of try, point her though an event and go, even if she’s never done it before! Lady rides bareback, will ride in a halter just as good as a bit, and rides quiet and easy without any issue. If you watch the video, you’ll see her ride without a bridle. You can literally ride her anywhere with just a string around her neck. Lady is truly a one of a kind horse that is very broke and great minded, and will always handle whatever you throw at her at any time. Short enough to make it easy to mount and dismount for some of us who are older, or smaller kids, but stout enough the cowboys can go use her and do the hard work as well. This mare is absolutely gorgeous in person, with a heart of gold that always aims to please. She is safe and reliable always, and a pleasure to own!
